"I had some work done by Al. He replaced the entire ass end of my goldwing because it had over 100,000 miles on it and was loosening up to the point that I wasn't enjoying riding it anymore. In addition to that, he replaced some electronic components that were going bad, as well as a bunch of other stuff such as tires and fluids. Now, i'm not going to quote costs, but let's just say that I paid less than 1/2 what I was quoted from some other shops.
In addition, one of those "other shops" had done replacement on just my rear shock, charged more more than Al charged me, and the part went to hell in less than a year. Also, I was going to have that "other shop" do the repair on my bike, but in over 3 months time, he wouldn't return any of my phone calls to schedule an appointment.
So, i'm a big proponent of Al. You cannot go wrong if you need work done on your bike. He's good at what he does, he's reasonable, and you don't feel like you had a bad shower room experience when it comes time to pay you bill.

"My radiator hose breaks, I bring the bike to Dr Al after 5pm. The next day by noon, my bike's fixed and he repaired my "Floppy" Trunk and my cracked fairing.

"I have missed meetups due to the fact that my bike is UNSAFE and I would put others at risk if I attempted to ride in its current state. I discovered this soon after I went on a run at Lord Fletchers. HOPEFULLY the state will soon be ALTERED by DR AL. He is currently wearing 2 hats as a contractor (He is building a new HUGE garage and a 4 season porch at Casa Del Alvin, and as some of you may have guessed, its going to have all the bells and whistles. I think it will rival THE BATCAVE)
Ok heres the laundry list of stuff that needs to be done to my bike:
1) The Speedo-It worketh NOT! Pretty bad on a sportbike. I NEED to know how fast I am going
2) Front brake pads-Yeah I do NOT reccomend using the back brake only. Had a few near misses!
3) Leaky fork seals which leaked onto the calipers herby contaminating the whole mess. YUK!-Just plain BAD! Made a nice "Fork Condom" though, but it was merely a band-aid
4) Missing bolts, crunched fairings and assorted damage
HERES the beautiful part:
Speedo-Als an electronics GENIUS. If its a bad board, he might be able to FIX it w/o me having to buy the part. OEM parts for my bike are RARE and EXPENSIVE
Front Brakes-He does these in his sleep
Fork seals-THIS can be BAD if they are bent, but he has several inexpensive ways to fix. Needs to pull them apart first to see how bad I mangled them.
Fairing Damage-Over $1,000 worth to replace not to mention at LEAST $500 to paint.
Al can do plastic repair. He doesn't advertise or tout it, but I suspect that it will look better than it did.
Bolts-Honda has $5 bolts...WHat a DEAL! NOT! Al may be able to do soething about that too on some of them."
